Port Vale Supporters club is formed by a group of Port Vale Football Club supporters. They always come together on different occasions to discus different events at Vale Park. They also host different events and initiatives aimed to support the growth of the football club. They believe for the club to grow, it needs enough money to fund good transfers and also to pay the dedicated workers. They always come together to show the love for football and also condemn the act of racism on football. To ensure there is a constant rapport between the club supporters and the management, several meetings are held by two parties to get the views on how the club should be managed.

The Port Vale Football Club

Port Vale Football Club was founded in 1876 and is based at Vale Park in the English town of Stoke-On-Trent. The club was given its name from the location of its inaugural meeting, Port Vale House. Port Vale has loyal and vocal support, and being a member of the Port Vale Supporters Club is an essential part of supporting the club for many. The Club performs many functions, including providing transport to away matches and hosting special events with club officials and players in attendance. Some supporters may choose to stand for election to the Supporters Club board and give something back to, and be involved with, the Football Club in this way. The loyal club supporters created a Go Fund Me page with the motive of raising some funds to help in finishing Lorne Street concourse. The fund drive was developed as a way of clubs supporters to appreciate the owners of the club for their excellent work in starting a football club that entertains and also brings different opportunities to future generations. The majority voted the decision to hold the fundraising on 27th February 2020 during club supporters meeting. The main aim of the whole exercise was to collect £100,000. The money was to be used to finish the renovations before they Robbie Williams Concert. Within the first ten days, the campaign had raised £8,500 wish shown a great effort in trying to hit the target.

Mode of Fund Collection

On the official page, there is a Go Fund Me page where you can send your money directly. For each donation on this mode, there is a small fee to be deducted (2.9%+25p) to cover some of their expenses. For those who dont wish to use Go Fund Me page, they can channel their contribution directly to clubs back account using bank transfer. All you need is to send an email to [email protected] They will revert with the account details to be used. The excess amount on this fund drive will be channeled back to the club. It will be a way of appreciating the Shanahans for the good work of reviving the club and helping it to move forward.

For a club to thrive, it needs support from both club management and supporters. Port Vale Football Club has been able to stand with the help of loyal club supporters.
